Apply to become a Mind Moves Instructor if: |
|
| |
you have a valid degree in either Occupational Therapy, Education, Psychology or Child Kinetics and 10 years experience |
|
| |
OR |
|
|
| |
you have a valid diploma in Occupational Therapy and 15 years experience in private practice or at a school |
|
| |
OR |
|
|
| |
you have a valid teaching diploma and 15 years teaching experience |
|
| |
AND |
|
|
| |
you have an affiliation with a school where you will be practicing from. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
If you do not comply with either the required qualifications or years experience, but are passionate to become a Mind Moves Instructor, kindly apply and motivate your application

After completing and submitting the online application form, the Mind Moves Institute will contact you and arrange for an interview.
|
| 3. |
If your application is successful you need to complete the license agreement and deposit the first payment of R5 000 (non refundable). On receiving proof of payment and the license agreement your Mind Moves starter pack with pre-course reading material and first assignment will be posted to you
|

You complete the first assignment and hand it in - feedback will be given within 5 days. On acceptance of your PoE the outstanding amount of R17 500.00 is payable. Please send proof of payment to the Mind Moves Institute.

If your assignment needs amendment, you have 5 days to resubmit. Failure to resubmit or to meet the assessment criteria will unfortunately result in the cancellation of your application to become a Mind Moves Instructor

Successful students will attend Mind Moves Instructor training and are expected to actively participate in the hands-on Mind Moves training
|
| 7. |
On completion of Mind Moves Instructor training, you do 5 case studies according to specifications and submit it to the Institute
|
| 8. |
You attend further training in study skills and setting up a practice
|
| 9. |
You then need to conclude your Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) and submit it.
|
| 10. |
Your PoE will be assessed and on final approval your one day refresher and prize giving will take place at your practice.
|
| 11. |
On successful qualification as a Mind Moves Instructor, your contact details will be listed on the Mind Moves website and you will receive access to the Mind Moves Instructors’ website.
|
| 12. |
You need to set up your practice and pro-actively participate in the Continues Development Programme by accumulating a minimum of 100 points.
|
| 13. |
Your license is valid until the end of February the following year, therefore you need to apply for your license annually by submitting your CDP points and pay R2 500.00 license fee for continued support and accreditation from the Mind Moves Institute. |
