The book is filled with photos of ageing people enthusiastically demonstrating the well-known Mind Moves exercises which are superb for enhancing quality of life – no matter the circumstances.

The twinkle in my wrinkle is written in a light conversational tone whilst addressing common challenges associated with ageing, for example:

  • Adapting to change (moving house, knee- and hip replacements, dealing with the loss of a life partner, being dependant on others, etc.)
  • negativity
  • depression
  • bad eating habits
  • decreasing energy levels
  • memory loss
  • fearing the fall
  • children and grandchildren with differing priorities and lifestyles
  • dealing with feelings of worthlessness.

Included in the book is a poster with Mind Moves exercises grouped together to address the above-mentioned challenges, one after the other.
